I pulled down the demo from Xbox last night... I have to say that at first, the game felt a little confusing and hard. I think the issue was that I had been playing Crackdown... so that made my play style NOT equivalent to Red Faction. After I slowed down a bit... the game started to play a lot better... and man... it was awesome when I got in a big personnel carrier and just DROVE THROUGH EVERYTHING.
So yeah... had a lot of fun with the demo... maybe I will pick it up? Or at least borrow it from QforQ.
